NAVIGATING CAMPUS AND BOZEMAN
The slideshow below contains maps and schedules relevant to navigation and transportation during your visit. Included is a campus map with major points of interest annotated, a map of the workshop center, as well as relevant Streamline maps and schedules for traveling between campus, downtown, and other parts of Bozeman. ACCOMMODATIONS
Amenities All rooms have twin beds. All buildings are traditional style residence halls, with communal restroom and shower facilities conveniently located on every floor. Floors are co-ed unless otherwise stated as part of the conference. Fresh bed linens and towels are provided upon arrival. These items can be exchanged at any time at the front desk. Lounges, vending machines, and laundry facilities are located throughout each building. If you would like to do laundry, please request a laundry card from the front desk. Laundry cards are available free of charge and are required to use the machines. Soap, refrigerators, and parking permits are available at the front desk. Fans are available at the front desk free of charge but are first come, first serve. Front desks are staffed 24 hours a day. Attendees requesting assistance or special services may contact the desk at any time. If you would like to have a refrigerator in your room during your stay, they are available to rent for $20 per stay on a first-come, first-serve basis. Please contact Summer and Break Housing at (406) 994-2674 to make these arrangements prior to your stay. Check-in/Check-out Check-in time is any time after 3:00 pm and guests staying in the Gallatin Hall will check in at the front desk of the North Hedges Hall. This is where you will pick up your key and access card as well as any other needed items. Check-out time is any time before 11:00 am on the date of departure. Special arrangements must be made in advance of the conference date to alter these times. Prior to checking out all guests are required to place linens and towels next to the door of the room. Trash must be carried to the end of the hallway and placed in trash receptacle. Guests must check out with the clerk at the front desk to assess charges accrued during the stay and return the room keys. Lost keys present a serious security risk for the residence halls. Lost keys or keys not returned to the front desk will result in an immediate lock change for which you will be charged $65. Bent or damaged keys are $15.
Campus Information The MSU campus offers many lounging and green areas around campus. The Strand Union Building has public access computers, bookstore, business center, ATMs, snack options and a coffee kiosk. The Museum of the Rockies, one of the world’s best Natural History Museums, is just adjacent to campus. For more information please visit https://www.museumoftherockies.org/. Conference guests may utilize MSU Recreational Sports & Fitness for a daily fee.

On Campus Dining Come enjoy our all-you-care-to-eat dining in Rendezvous Dining Pavilion featuring different daily menu options. Dining commons hours: 7:00 am – 7:00 pm 7 days per week with the exception of some holidays.

It is important for everyone to become familiar with each procedure and understand when they are used. The local community, family, and friends are encouraged to opt in to the University Emergency Notification system by texting “montanastate” to 888-777. Opt-in steps can be found here. MSU Police also offers a free app, Safe Cats, which visitors can use to keep themselves informed while on campus. Safe Cats is available for free in the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. PRESENTER INFORMATION
For those presenting posters at the Volatile Workshop who want their poster printed at Selby's and available upon arrival in Bozeman, please send your final poster as a .pdf to Behnaz Hosseini ([email protected]) by 5 pm on Friday, May 20th. All posters must be 36" in height by 48" in length to fit on the poster boards. Posters costs $24, and payment can be made at registration (either cash or check).
