WORKSHOP VENUEThe workshop will be hosted in the Strand Union Building (SUB) on the Montana State University campus. A number of rooms have been reserved for this event, including the Alumni Legacy Lounge, the Leigh Lounge, and the Procrastination Theater. LODGINGLodging will be provided in single-occupancy campus dorms (TBD), with regular hotel amenities provided (including laundry facilities). If you prefer to pursue off-campus lodging options, there are many alternative lodging options available near campus.

FOOD & BREWERIES & COFFEEBreakfast and lunch will be provided through Montana State University Dining Services each day. Participants will be responsible for paying for dinner. Navigate Bozeman's rich dining scene. Ask Madison or Behnaz for restaurant, brewery, & coffee recommendations.

AIRPORTAll flights to and from Bozeman are through the Bozeman Yellowstone International Airport (BZN) in Belgrade (~10 miles northwest of Bozeman). From this airport, you will need to use a rideshare service to get to Bozeman.

CULTURE & OUTDOOR ACTIVITESDowntown Bozeman and the surrounding area hosts a rich cultural scene, including the restored Ellen Theater (est. 1919) and the Museum of the Rockies. Bozeman's proximity to Yellowstone and other wild areas provides many opportunities for outdoor recreation.

WEATHERSpring is generally late to arrive in the Gallatin Valley, and it isn't unusual to have snowstorms in May. Overall, May temperatures rise to the 60s and it is often one of the wettest months. Check the Bozeman weather forecast before your visit so that you pack accordingly.
